Occasionally when loading plans into Cubit Estimating the plan may appear to be distorted, of low quality or is missing items. When this occurs Cubit Estimating may be misreading the image or is unable to read a particular component of the image correctly.
In Cubit Estimating, any Plans can be inserted as a Vector image (default) or as a Raster image. When you insert any plan and Cubit Estimating may load the plan as a distorted image like below.

When this happens, use the Flatten PDF function to provide a more accurate rendering of a plan, without limiting the takeoff tools

Alternatively, you may wish to try and insert the plan as a Raster image instead by doing the following:
1. On the Viewport, click Insert.

2. Locate and select your plan to insert and click Open.
3. From the Select PDF pages window, click the Import plan as drop-down and select Raster.

4. Click Import.
The image will be loaded as a Raster image.
